Postdoctoral positions in Brain Activity Atlas

Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately at State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, Beijing Normal University, in the area of human brain mapping and cognitive neuroscience. The positions will be under the supervision of Dr. Jia Liu, Department Head of Psychology at Beijing Normal University. The goals of the work are to develop new computational frameworks or usage paradigm for the brain activity atlas. Applicants must have received a Ph. D. within the last 5 years. Experience in in neuroimaging, statistics, modeling, and computer programming is desired but not critical. Most important is the candidate’s willingness and ability to work independently.

Internship positions in Brain Activity Atlas

Multiple internship positions are available in each year at State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, Beijing Normal University, in the area of human brain mapping and cognitive neuroscience. The position will be under the supervision of Dr. Jia Liu and Dr. Zonglei Zhen. The goals of the work are to develop new algorithms and tools to localize functional regions with functional MRI. The applicants should be undergraduate or graduate students and major in computer science, automation, biomedical engineering, or related discipline. Experience in image segmentation & registration and computer programming is desired but not critical. Most important is the candidate’s willingness and ability to learn new things.
